Your Role and Responsibilities : CIO Finance and Supply Chain is a domain focus on implementing and maintaining technical and data solutions for Internal IBM Finance and Accounting organisations. The Analytics Tribe is dedicated on deploying e2e in IBM Cloud, with focus on User Experience and Design. We are looking for a passionate colleague who will help us found the AI squad to support our internal Finance and Accounting department with their emerging needs to implement AI/cognitive elements in their processes. You will be part of a small team of 3-5 people and you will have the opportunity to help design and set up the way of work for our AI projects. You will be able to work with the latest technologies and cloud based tools. Our team works in agile manner and the role requires leadership and communication skills as you will be engaged in the whole lifecycle of the project, from initial problem discovery with the client to successful deployment.What do you need for success• Master or Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Appplied Informatics, Economics, Finance or comparable scientific studies
• Background in advanced mathematics and statistics
• Programming in Python
• Experience with containers or container orchestration technology (knowledge of OpenShift advantage)
• Proficient with SQL and relational databases (knowledge of IBM DB2 advantage)
• Strong logical and analytical background with excellent communication skills
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving to help lead the discovery sessions with clients
• Experience with Agile way of work
